These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Vantage platform, websites, and related services (together, the “Service”) operated by Vantage (“Vantage”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using the Service — including the free instant scan, a paid subscription, or any account you create — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and “you” refers to that entity. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Vantage is a multi-product ASEO (AI & Search Engine Optimization) platform. Depending on your plan, the Service includes some or all of the following:
- Campaign Links — branded short links with click tracking and analytics, including aggregate and per-click signals such as approximate geographic location, device, and referrer.
- AI-SEO Visibility — crawling of websites you submit and AI-assisted analysis of how readable and citable your pages are to search engines and AI assistants, with recommended fixes.
- Media Plans — tools to build, organize, and export marketing and media plans and related reports.
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Some features rely on third-party providers (see Section 9) and may change if those providers change.
3. Accounts & Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended for business use by small and medium-sized businesses and agencies.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping it current.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You must notify us promptly at legal@aseo.knockbook.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
- If you use the Service as an agency on behalf of clients, you are responsible for having the necessary rights and authorizations to act for those clients and to submit their websites and data.
4. Subscriptions, Billing, Trials & Cancellation
Paid features are offered on a subscription basis under our tiered plans — currently the Link, Client, and Agency tiers. The features, usage limits, and price of each tier are described at the point of purchase.
- Payment processing.Subscriptions are billed through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe’s terms. We do not store your full card number — payment credentials are handled by Stripe.
- Renewals. Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) at the then-current rate, until cancelled.
- Trials. Where a free or discounted trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before it ends.
- Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain access until the end of the current paid period.
- Refunds. Except where required by applicable law, fees are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods, unused features, or downgrades. We may, at our discretion, issue a refund in individual cases.
- Taxes & price changes. Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (including VAT) unless stated otherwise. We may change prices; changes apply from your next billing period and we will give reasonable notice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:
- Submit, crawl, or analyze any website, domain, or system that you do not own or are not authorized to analyze. You are solely responsible for confirming you have permission for every URL you submit.
- Use Campaign Links to distribute spam, malware, phishing, deceptive, or unlawful content, or to cloak or misrepresent a link’s destination.
- Scan, probe, or attempt to access private systems, authenticated areas, or infrastructure that you are not authorized to test.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems, or circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or security controls.
- Use the Service to infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights, or to process personal data unlawfully.
- Resell or provide access to the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted by your plan.
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access for conduct that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms or harms the Service, other users, or third parties.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and content we provide, is owned by Vantage or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms and your plan.
You retain ownership of the content and data you submit (“Your Content”), including the websites you ask us to analyze and the links you create. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service and to provide it to you. You may not use our name, logo, or brand without our prior written consent.
7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Parts of the Service use artificial-intelligence models (including models from third parties such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google) to analyze pages and generate scores, summaries, and recommendations. These outputs are AI-generated interpretations produced automatically.
- Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date, and are provided for general informational purposes only.
- AI outputs are not professional, legal, financial, or guaranteed marketing advice, and we do not warrant any particular search ranking, visibility, or business result.
- You are responsible for reviewing and exercising your own judgment before acting on any output.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers, including Stripe (payments), AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google), and our hosting and infrastructure providers. Your use of features that depend on these providers may be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for their acts, omissions, or availability. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and are not endorsements.
9. Data & Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you acknowledge that data will be processed as described there. You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to submit any personal data of third parties (for example, your clients’ data) to the Service.
10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any result will be achieved.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vantage and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the amounts you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Vantage harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, your submission of websites or data you were not authorized to submit, or your breach of these Terms.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.
